  1. Open the Phone app and tap the three dots in the upper-right corner.

Enter a new PIN, and then tap Continue. Enter the code again and tap OK to confirm.

How to Reset Your Voicemail Password on a Samsung Phone

Resetting a Samsung device's voicemail password works a bit differently. Try the steps below, but if they don't work on your specific phone, continue down the page to see the carrier-specific instructions which will definitely work.

  1. Open the Phone app and press-and-hold 1 until it starts to call your voicemail.

If you forgot the password you created when you first set up your voicemail, then you'll have to reset it through your carrier.

Reset AT&T Voicemail Password

AT&T users can reset their voicemail password through the company's website.

  1. In your phone's browser, open your AT&T account overview page and go to My wireless.

If you have an AT&T prepaid phone, dial 611 and navigate the voice prompts to change your voicemail password.

Reset Verizon Voicemail Password

To reset the voicemail password on a Verizon phone, dial *611. Provide the requested information, then say “Reset voicemail password” when the assistant asks what you're calling about. The automated system will take you through the process.

Reset Tracfone Voicemail Password

Tracfone customers can reset their voicemail PIN via text messaging.

  1. Start a new conversation and enter 611611 for the recipient's number.

Reset T-Mobile Voicemail Password

To reset your password to voicemail to the last four digits of your phone number, dial #793#. The next time you check your password, you can change it to whatever you want. To disable the password altogether, dial #796#.

Reset a Voicemail Password With Other Carriers
